Harrison's Kiefer Rewriting Record Books

On April 19th at the Anderson Track & Field Invitational, Harrison senior Natalie Kiefer finished the 800-meter run with a blistering time of 2:10.95.  Her time broke the meet record and her own school record.  Natalie was honored as the Most Valuable Runner of the Anderson Invitational for her efforts.  Her 800-meter run currently ranks #1 in Ohio this season (by 3 seconds), #5 all-time in Cincinnati track history and #56 all-time in Ohio track history.  This is her fourth school record of the season.  In addition, Natalie still possesses the #2 time in the state for the 400-meter run this year.  According to Harrison Track & Field Head Coach Scott Menze, “There is the possibility that she may break a school record every single time that she runs an individual race this year.”  After graduation, Natalie will continue her academic and track careers at Eastern Kentucky University.  (Photo courtesy of JPW_Media)
