Ross Wins 2020 SWOC Football Championship


The Ross Rams have won the 2020 Southwest Ohio Conference Football Championship.  This is the first SWOC title for the Rams, who are currently 5-1 overall (5-0 SWOC).  Ross has been strong on both sides of the ball in the SWOC year.  Offensively, the Rams scored 47.2 points per game, while gaining 464.2 yards per game.  Of these 464.2 yards per game, 441.0 were gained by rushing the ball with an amazing average of 8.7 yards per carry.  Defensively, Ross allowed 25.4 points per game and 246.2 yards per game.  The Rams forced six opponent turnovers in SWOC action.  Ross is looking to advance in the OHSAA Division III Football Playoffs, when hosting a second-round game on October 16th versus Monroe at 7:00 PM.  Congratulations and good luck to the team and their coach, Kenyon Commins!
