Back to Back Boys Basketball Championships for the Owls


For the second consecutive year, the Mt. Healthy Owls, 16-5 overall (11-1 SWOC), are the Southwest Ohio Conference Boys Basketball Champions.  This title is the third overall SWOC Championship for the Owls.  In SWOC competition, Mt. Healthy led the conference in scoring (67.3 points per game), FG % (49.0%), rebounds (442) and steals (106).  The Owls have the following players on the All-Conference team:  Kollin Tolbert - Player of the Year/1st Team; Brandon Lanier - 1st Team; Taeveonne Elliott - 2nd Team; Aarhek Lamb - 2nd Team; Iyashu Adams - Honorable Mention; and Namaray McCalley - Sportsmanship Award.  Congratulations to the Owls and Head Coach Adair Carmichael on another SWOC title!!!  Mt. Healthy opens OHSAA Tournament action on Tuesday, February 25 when they travel to Fairfield to take on Hamilton.
