Ross Wrestling Heading to State Tournament

For the sixth time in the eight years of its' existence, the Ross Rams have advanced to the OHSAA Dual Team Wrestling State Tournament by virtue of winning the Regional Championship for Division II, Region 15.  The Rams captured the Regional Championship by defeating the following schools:  Taylor (69-12); Eaton (43-31); Monroe (39-37); and Wyoming (42-34).  Ross is one of only eight schools, from throughout the state, still competing for this Division II State Championship. This season marks the third consecutive year that the Rams have advanced to the State Tournament.  Ross advanced to the Final Four in 2018 and 2013.  The 2020 OHSAA Dual Team Wrestling State Tournament will be held on Sunday, February 16th in St. John Arena, on the campus of the Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio.  The Rams, who are led by 2019 State Champion Alex Coleman (285) and 2019 State Alternate Sean Beltran (145), will face off against the Louisville Leopards at 11:00 AM.  Congratulations and good luck to the Rams and Head Coach Rich Dunn!!!
