3rd Straight SWOC Baseball Championship for Ross


For the third straight year, the Ross Rams, 16-3 overall (12-0 SWOC), are the Southwest Ohio Conference Baseball Champions.  The Rams have either won outright or shared five of the seven SWOC titles in conference history.  Coach Ben Toerner's Rams sit atop the conference, statistically, in the following team categories:  Doubles (37); Triples (7); RBI (134); OBP (.468); AVG (.348); and Shutouts (3).  Ross players at the top in individual statistics are:  Ethan Hall - .429 batting average and 27 runs scored; Keegan Nickoson - .584 on base percentage; and Zach Ungermann - 22 runs batted in.  The Rams begin OHSAA tournament play on Thursday, May 16 at 5:00 PM when they host the winner of Mt. Healthy vs. Wilmington.  Congratulations and good luck to the Ross Rams!!!
