Little Miami Wins Their First Ever SWOC Softball Championship

The Little Miami Panthers are the 2019 Southwest Ohio Conference Softball Champions.  Coach Mary VonBargen's team currently has an overall record of 16-6 (11-1 SWOC).  This is the Panthers' first SWOC Softball title in school history.  This season, the Panthers recorded 10 straight wins to open conference play and finished at 11-1 to become SWOC champions.  Little Miami leads the SWOC in triples (15), home runs (21) and stolen bases (77).  The Panthers are represented on the SWOC statistical leader page by:  Lauren Holt - .574 batting average and Kelsey Schmidt - 10 home runs, 31 RBI, 40 hits and 34 runs scored.  Little Miami opens OHSAA Tournament action on Monday, May 6 at 5:00 PM when they host Colerain.  Congratulations and good luck to the Panthers!!!
