Alex Coleman Wins State Title, 4 Additional SWOC Wrestlers Reach Podium


For the first time in Ross wrestling history, a Ram has won a state wrestling championship.  Junior Alex Coleman captured the 2019 Division II 285 lb. State Wrestling Championship by winning an exciting championship match by the final score of 10-7.  Coleman had pinned his three previous opponents during the State Tournament.  The SWOC was also represented on the podium in Columbus by the following State Placers:  Brett McIntosh, Harrison (3rd Place Division I - 160 lbs.); Max Boyle, Harrison (6th Place Division I - 195 lbs.); Logan Iams, Ross (7th Place Division II - 182 lbs.); and Sean Mondello, Talawanda (8th Place Division I - 160 lbs.).  Congratulations on all of these accomplishments at the OHSAA State Wrestling Championships!!!
