Ross Wins Wrestling Regional Championship & Advances to State Tourney


The Ross Rams have advanced to the 2019 OHSAA Dual Team Wrestling State Tournament by virtue of winning the Regional Championship for Division II, Region 15.  The Rams captured the Regional Championship by defeating the following schools:  Shroder (84-0); New Richmond (71-12); Chaminade Julienne (43-28); and Monroe (52-23).  Ross is one of only eight schools from throughout the state still competing for this Division II State Championship.  This season marks the second consecutive year, and fifth out of the seven seasons of this tournament, that the Rams have advanced to the State Tournament.  Ross advanced to the Final Four last season and in 2013.  The 2019 OHSAA Dual Team Wrestling State Tournament will be held on Sunday, February 10th in St. John Arena, on the campus of the Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio.  The Rams will face off against Lisbon Beaver Local at 1:15 PM.  Congratulations and good luck to the Rams and Head Coach Rich Dunn!!!
