Cross Country: Little Miami boys, Talawanda girls win SWOC

Every fall, the cornfields surrounding Harrison High School become a cross-country track, setting the stage for the Southwest Ohio Conference championships.

This season, Little Miami's boys and Talawanda's girls took home conference titles. It's the Panthers' second title in a row and Talawanda's first since 2013.

Little Miami's Dawson Paul won the boys' title with a time of 17:21.20, while Little Miami's Lydia Vach won the girls' title in 19:46.70.

Talawanda's Maddy Iden came in second to lead the Braves' title team. Mount Healthy's Justin Abrams finished runner-up in the boys' race.
