Strong postseason start for SWOC teams

The start of the baseball/softball postseasons has seen SWOC teams perform well. On May 10, a pair of SWOC pitchers -- Harrison's Evan Miller and Northwest's Corey Breeden -- tossed complete-game no-hitters to advance in sectional play. Breeden had eight strikeouts in a 2-0 win over Sycamore, and Miller, who's signed with Xavier University, led the Wildcats 2-0 over Colerain.

In softball, Harrison, Edgewood, Little Miami, Ross and Talawanda all won postseason games and are still alive with several in sectional championship games next week.
