Mount Healthy boys win 8 straight

Starting with a 60-55 win over Withrow back on Dec. 19, Mount Healthy's boys basketball squad has won eight straight games, including the last five against SWOC opponents.

Junior guard Dominic Brewton has been a surprise this season, averaging 14.6 points per game to lead the Owls.

Mount Healthy is currently tied atop the SWOC standing with Northwest. Both teams are 6-1 in league play, with Little Miami lurking at 5-2. Northwest's Ronnell Turner leads the league in scoring at 18.9 points per game. Edgewood started off strong, but the Cougars have lost their last three league games. Little Miami senior Alex Johnson is second in the SWOC in scoring at 17.6 points per game and ranks first in rebounds (9.1) and blocks (1.8).
