Edgewood girls run away with SWOC title
All season long, the Cougars have been the most dominant girls golf team in the conference and Edgewood proved it again on Wednesday at Fairfield Green Golf Course for the SWOC championship.
Edgewood took first place with a score of 398. Harrison was second with 413 and Northwest was third with 422.
Edgewood freshman Sarah Abner was the tournament medalist with with a 40 on the front and 47 on the back for a round of 87. Edgewood junior Annie Patrick was second overall with a 92 and Harrison freshman McKenzie Mobley was third with 95. Northwest freshman Morgan Hughes took fourth with a score of 96 and Little Miami's Mallory Wright was fifth with 101.
