Little Miami ladies take control in hoops race

With five wins in a row, including conference wins over Talawanda, Ross and Northwest, Little Miami has stormed to the top spot in the girls basketball race.

The Panthers started the year 2-3 but they've found a groove and rattled off five straight. They've also been playing a remarkable balanced brand of basketball. The Panthers are allowing just 37 points to conference opponents.

Little Miami, at 5-1 in the conference, is seated ahead of Ross at 4-1 in the SWOC (6-6 overall).

Talawanda (7-3, 3-2) is still in solid position to make a run, as are Edgewood (4-7, 3-2) and Northwest (7-5, 2-3).
