Talawanda wins volleyball title
Talawanda won the conference volleyball title this season in dominant fashion. The Braves went 12-0 in conference games and sit at 21-1 overall heading into the postseason Thursday, Oct. 22 against the winner of Milford/Sycamore.
Talawanda's led by sophomore Valerie Green, who led the SWOC with 260 kills this season. Junior Katlynn Woodruff led the conference with 750 assists, while Gabby Lindley led in digs (428).
Little Miami finished second in the conference with a 9-3 mark (15-7 overall). The Panthers face Oak Hills Monday, Oct. 19 to open the postseason.
Ross was third in the conference race, going 15-8 overall and 7-5 in the conference. The Rams fell in their first round postseason contest to Alter.
