Cross country champs crowned
On a nice Saturday morning at Harrison, the conference's cross country warriors ran wild through the recently farmed fields behind the athletic fields in search of a place in conference history.
When the day was done, Ross raised both the boys and girls championship trophies. The girls posted a score of 29 and the boys tallied a 47. Talawanda's girls took second and Little Miami's boys were second. In third place on the boys side was Northwest, and Harrison on the girls.
Ross junior Emily Casaceli was the individual champion. Edgewood senior Andrew Testas was the boys champion in a conference record time.
Complete results will be posted this weekend.
