BOYS SOCCER 

The race is officially heating up with less than three week remaining in the regular season. Right now, Talawanda and Edgewood have established themselves as front runners with Little Miami very much in the mix. 

Talawanda is 5-4-1 overall, but the Braves are 2-0-0 in the conference. Talawanda must still face Edgewood, Ross and Little Miami. Edgewood is 7-3-1 overall and 2-0-1 in the conference. The Cougars and Braves meet on Thursday, Oct. 1 at Talawanda. Little Miami's 6-2-0 overall and 1-1-0 in the SWOC. The Panthers still have conference matches against Northwest (4-5-2) and Ross (3-7-2). 

Edgewood's Gordon Thornsberry leads the conference in total points (31) and goals (13) with five assists. 

GIRLS SOCCER

Harrison remains the team to beat. The Wildcats are 10-0-0 overall and 4-0 in the conference. The Wildcats play a complete style of soccer, defending and scoring with efficiency. Edgewood and Little Miami are in the mix for the next spot. The Cougars are 8-4-0 overall and 3-1-0 in the conference. The Panthers are also 3-1-0 in the SWOC and 4-6-2 overall.
