FALL Update: 9/2



Three SWOC teams -- Edgewood, Mount Healthy and Northwest -- started their seasons with wins in week one. Edgewood beat Monroe 21-17 behind junior quarterback Drew Reckart who threw for 217 yards and three touchdowns. Mount Healthy held off Sycamore, 36-35, with four touchdowns and 209 yards on the ground from senior David Montgomery. Northwest smothered Western Hills, 49-14, on the road. 

Harrison fell in the fourth quarter to East Central, 24-23, after a late field goal. Ross lost 28-20 to Goshen. The Rams' Reilly Ryder caught three passes for 96 yards and a touchdown. Talawanda was shutout 34-0 against Middletown Madison and Little Miami lost to former conference foe Wilmington, 48-26. 

In week two, Edgewood is at Franklin; Harrison hosts Oak Hills; Little Miami visits Western Brown; Mount Healthy hosts Fenwick; Northwest is at Troy; Talawanda hosts Badin and Ross hosts Dixie.
