FALL Update: 8/24


Only a few weeks into the fall season and already several teams/individuals have established themselves. 


Little Miami (3-2) and Edgewood (2-2) are the only teams with more than one win so far. In the only conference matchup of the season, Harrison (1-5) beat Edgewood, 5-0. 

At first singles, Harrison's Hanna Williams has started the season 6-0 in her matches. Little Miami's Shannon Brown has also started hot with a 5-0 record. Talawanda's Katie Curry is 4-2 for the Braves. 


Talawanda has started the season 3-0, while Edgewood, Harrison and Little Miami have gone 1-1 to start. 

Talawanda's Charlie Winkler has posted the lowest nine-hole average (38.80) with 45 holes played. Little Miami's Dante Losurdo has averaged 40.66 after 54 holes. 


Harrison (4-0) and Edgewood (3-0) have jumped out of the gate with strong starts. Little Miami is 1-1. 

Harrison's Taylor Keppler currently has the best nine-hole average (45.33) through 27 holes, followed by her teammate, Rachelle Grubbs, who's averaged 48.00 after 27 holes. 


Edgewood and Harrison both won their season openers over the weekend. The Cougars beat Eaton, 3-2, and the Wildcats stopped Taylor, 4-0. 

Harrison's Milus Sutton and Edgewood's Gordon Thornsberry each scored a pair of goals in the first game for their respective teams. 

Harrison's Erik Gruber and Cory Baird each posted a goal and assists in the opener. 


Edgewood and Northwest both started their seasons with wins. The Knights topped Middletown Madison, 4-3, and Edgewood beat Eaton, 4-0. 

Courtney Moore scored two goals for Northwest, and teammate Kaylee Courter recorded a goal and assist.
