Mount Healthy, Northwest share boys hoops championship


When Mount Healthy beat Northwest 71-65 on Monday, Feb. 22, the Owls didn't just hand Northwest its first conference loss of the season. They stole a share of the conference title with Northwest meaning the pair would split the honor. Both teams ended up 11-1 in conference play; Northwest is 18-4 overall, Mount Healthy's 17-5. 

Northwest's Jarrell Marsh had a game-high 20 points, seven rebounds and four assists in the loss to Mount Healthy. The Owls were led by Kylan Miller and Kenny English who each scored 15 points. Mount Healthy also outscored Northwest 49-34 in the second half.
